Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 in an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi, the Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became her coach in later years, discovered her at age six. The year 1969 was the first time she took part in the Romanian Junior Games and placed 13th. She won in 1970. She took home three golds at her debut competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972, which was a the communist bloc nations. In 1973 and 1974 she won the junior all-round champion. She won four gold and one silver in her debut competition as a senior which took place in the year 1975. This was the first time she had competed as a senior. In 1976 she became the first person in the world to utilize a reversed double salto in order to take off the parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey into the realm of entertainment started when she was a teenager. Along with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined traveling entertainment shows that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol's first job was in entertainment in her teens. The path she took to success began by joining her sister Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling show of entertainment. Ice Capades was a show that featured skating on ice performed by actors.
